Livecraft will most likely not update to Minecraft 1.8 before the year ends. A new project called Sponge has potential to succeed Bukkit. Tl dr: Bukkit is dead, Spigot is on life support. Here’s to a brighter, yellow, and more absorbent ( ba dum tss) future for Livecraft. Consequently, the Minecraft 1.8 update has been delayed considerably, and may not even happen before the year is out.
As a result, I have decided that Livecraft will use the Sponge server software once it is stable enough for daily use. One such project is called “ Sponge“, which is a project which aims to continue where Bukkit left off, using a clean codebase and an improved API. In light of this, there have been groups that have formed to create a replacement for Bukkit. The Bukkit project is no longer providing downloads or source code, leaving servers and developers to find another project or move on from Minecraft. Hello, given recent developments in the Minecraft multiplayer scene, the future of Livecraft and many other servers is in question. Jonathan Posted on Categories Livecraft Leave a comment on Livecraft Update Livecraft Is Currently Offline I have since created my own version however, it does not perform all of the functions necessary to run Livecraft properly therefore, Livecraft cannot run as expected at the moment. All I can say for now is that I do intend on bringing it back The server software that was used to run the server no longer functions as expected, and the original developer has abandoned the project (ahtenus’ minecraft-init). I aim to have Livecraft online in a future date, but I honestly cannot guarantee a date when it will return. Notre but est de runir une communaut sur ce jeu vido afin de leur proposer une diversit de gameplay suivant les. To put it bluntly, I would rather provide no server than a very poor experience. Qui sommes-nous Bas sur le jeu vido Minecraft Bedrock dition, Plutonium a t lanc le 16 fvrier 2019, nous sommes devenus une entreprise sous le nom de Plutonium SAS environ 3 ans aprs, soit le 10 mars 2022. Livecraft is something I care about greatly however, I don’t want to force myself to run it when it does not meet the expectations I have for the server. If #1 involves a new computer, we will need a working minecraft-init systemd bash script.Staff familiar with whichever setup it will use, so it can be administrated without me.Either a new computer to host it, or enough dependable money to rent a VPS monthly.Livecraft’s regular operations are on a hiatus until the following can be certain:
The server computer itself is heavily underpowered and I do not have the funds to upgrade it. The server software that was used to run the server no longer functions as expected, and the original developer has abandoned the project (ahtenus’ minecraft-init).
I’ve been quite busy with work in my personal life, as well as dealing with computer hardware problems on the server. I’ve had it offline for some time, due to various concerns, so I’ll be explaining what is going on. I’d like to address growing concern regarding Livecraft’s future.
